
Govind Pandey is a veteran Indian actor who has been substantial in cinema and theatre over the years. He was born on March 20, but different sources vary on the year of birth. For this reason, he is predicted to be in the age category of 35 to 48 years by 2025.

Govind is the youngest of seven siblings, and his early years were spent in a conservative family in Delhi. His father, U. D. Pandey, played a key role in shaping the formative values of Govind; not much information is available publicly about his mother. Govind went to Ramjas Senior Secondary School No. 3, from which he graduated with a degree in Performing Arts at Delhi University.
Due to the filmy world, his huge passion for theatre subsequently led him to pursue a Ph.D. in Hindi Drama from Jamia Millia Islamia, which he completed in the late 1990s. Theatre was quite involved in his early working life, and he spent ten years with the National School of Drama’s repertory company before making a wholesale shift to films. He debuted in films doing a cameo role in Angoor in 1982.
He returned to acting in the late 1990s after a long absence from the film circuit, slowly carving a niche as an actor of choice among the big directors for intense and believable roles. Some of the films he has done include Fan, Hindi Medium, Sui Dhaaga, Band Baaja Baaraat, and andVikram Vedha. In 2023, he appeared in Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery, re-proving his mettle in versatility and depth. He has been married to Babita Pandey since 1994, and they are parents to two sons. His family is a constant wide shore, and he also works with his nephew in production jobs.
It features him with a promising character of a strong village sarpanch in an acting stronghold Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, which is set to air in 2025. Honest and calm dedication are a few words known to describe him.
