Early Life & Family Background
Ajith Kumar, one of the most admired stars in Tamil cinema, was born on May 1, 1971, in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh (present-day Telangana). He belongs to a diverse cultural background—his father, Parmeshwar Subramaniam, hails from Tamil Nadu, while his mother, Mohini Mani, is of Sindhi descent. He grew up alongside his two brothers, Anup Kumar, an investor, and Anil Kumar, an IIT Madras graduate turned entrepreneur.
Ajith studied at Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in Chennai, but he left academics midway to chase his professional aspirations.

Soon it was all glamour and blockbuster hits, with Vaali, Villain, Varalaru, Billa, Mankatha, Vedalam, Viswasam, and Nerkonda Paarvai contributing to his fame. With his recent and latest release, Valimai, he has confirmed the power of his stardom yet again.
