Monika Panwar was born in the beautiful Garhwal of Uttarakhand on December 4, 1993. Having an innate attraction to drama from the early age, her first step was to pursue acting professionally. The next step was graduation from the National School of Drama, Delhi, in 2017. The crux of her academic training was a complete grounding in theatre with acting methods and stagecraft.

Before the camera was even in sight, Monika and theatre were synonymous. She was the soul of ‘Man Maana Square,’ and ‘Agarbatti’, deeply affecting her audience with emotional range and versatility. These productions are a testimony to her artistic instincts and the ability to authentically deliver a performance.
Entranceful in Cinema & Web Series
Monika’s entry into film was via the blockbuster Super 30 (2019), where she was looked upon as part of the cast. But still, the big moment was about to break for her when she captured the attention of masses with her role as Gudiya Mondal in the Netflix crime drama Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega (2020). The role provided Monika Pau-wine-Wahi with a wonderful opportunity to create a Gudiya who perfect Horther balance sensitivities with gritty intensity; one that remained etched in the minds of viewers and critics alike.”

Monika went on to embrace challenging characters, the chief among which came in 2024 when she acted in Dukaan.
