Navarasa is a web series like no other. Instead, it is a very beautiful anthology in the year 2021, which goes on deep into human emotions, with the nine different stories each touching on a different emotion ranging from the more joyous to the more sorrowful to anger. But really, the performances are what linger with you, specifically those amazing actresses who brought those stories to life. The best part? Most of them continue shining in 2025, creating really interesting work.

Consider Parvathy Thiruvothu, who appeared in the “Inmai” episode. Just wow-would she really rock that role? She’s always choosing roles that challenge her, and this one was no exception-mysterious, intense, and layered. Fast forward to 2025, and Parvathy is still working hard on picking thought-provoking roles in Tamil and Malayalam films, and honestly, she is one of those actresses you always trust with a real performance.
Then there is Aditi Balan, who also made her appearance in “Inmai”. After her breakout in Aruvi, she has remained mostly under the radar but meaningful. By 2025, she is known even better for eclectic, indie-style projects-more than your typical commercial stuff, but the kind of films that stick with you supposedly well after the credits roll. She is one of those quiet powers in the industry, you know?
Ritika Singh showed up in “Netru Indru Naalai” with a little rawness and authenticity and genuine feel. She would still be recognized today juggling mostly Tamil and Telugu films, having also begun trying her hands in web projects. Fun fact: She comes from an MMA background, and you can kind of feel that fierce energy in the way she acts. It’s like she owns every scene she’s in.
And there’s also Remya Nambeesan, Anjali, and Reema-the three actresses who gave to their audiences some quality performance from the different episodes. However, Anjali had a great run on OTT too, managing to ensconce between some serious wordplay, mixing light-hearted fun as well. It’s all about their versatility.
Unlike many other series, the Navarasa series is where the actresses do more than just look good-they actually have full-fledged, complex characters that live in memory. And seeing them still rocking the scene years after the incident is more of a reminder concerning the timeless quality of that series.
